Do do doo

just to show I'm working! Plans are to print some stickers this week in preparation for this weekend. I'm doing the Saturday Market on Sunday. It's supposed to be sunny! This is the first official weekend of the market and I want to be out there to get the season started.

Also I'm wondering if they are going to do a Last Thursday this month on Alberta. Plans are to pack up the car and drive by to see if anyone is set up. Does anyone have any info on that or rumors?

I'm spending all night bouncing on my yoga ball and sketching out some illustrations. I feel a little weird and shut in and maybe it's the weather but I'm feeling sluggish, hermit like and devoid of creativity. So I made myself look through my old scans of sketches. I'm tracing them in Illustrator and from there I can make prints, stickers, film to make new shirt designs and patches.

I Like Pandas

while I work on more paintings, here is a bit of Panda love for you.

Tonka

This card reminded me of a tonka truck. So I went for a panda hick. Kinda reminds me of home and the friendly folks of small towns.

Goodbye

I am going to start making my paintings on these little wood sample chips. I found them at my favorite recycle store SCRAP. They are just a bit bigger than a business card and all cut with hole so they are ready to go canvas! I am in love with them already.

I was feeling a little sentimental last night. Saying goodbye to an old love. Bad break ups can be hard. I think these little pandas are going to illustrate my life this year, all my feelings, moods and inspirations. It will be intersting to look back at the end and see what I went through. For tonight I am happy but also sad. Saying goodbye to someone is sometimes the hardest thing to do but the best at the same time.

Pandas!!!!

So starting today I will be doing a Panda a day. It can be in any format: sketch, painting, plushie, shirt, screen-print. Whatever I can think of. This will be the start of a new blog that will end with an entire art show dedicated to PANDAS!!! This is a way to get myself to be more creative and doing work every day.
